We recently applied for and received cGMP Certification from Eurofins, a leading food assurance firm that manages the overall process.

cGMP stands for Current Good Manufacturing Practices, the name given to quality systems used by U.S. Food & Drug Administration regulated product manufacturers to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.

Adherence to the CGMP regulations assures the identity, strength, quality, and purity of dietary supplement products by requiring that manufacturers of hemp products adequately control manufacturing operations.

This includes:

  • Establishing strong quality management systems
  • Obtaining appropriate quality raw materials
  • Establishing robust operating procedures
  • Detecting and investigating product quality deviations
  • Maintaining reliable testing laboratories

What Does cGMP Mean for You?

While GMP is the standard, cGMP certification ensures that the facility, as well as all the other aspects of supplement manufacturing, are up-to-date and not obsolete. The manufacturing, testing and storing facilities, and technologies adhering to GMP may have been the best options about two decades ago, but the latest advancements have made it possible to achieve an even greater level of quality, purity, and effectiveness.
